'Stone' bowl #8

31cm x 29cm x 10cm - A carved bowl from oak by designer and wood carver Jamie Gaunt. This bowl is off-round and has a beautiful rising and falling lip running around the top. It has a gorgeous depth of colour due to the piece of wood it came from air drying for many, many years. 
 
This piece has been finished on the inside with an oil / wax finish. The outside has been left natural. It has been scuffed and sanded smooth to give a flat, stone like look and feel.
