'Stone' Bowl #6

26cm x 10cm - A large and deep sided carved bowl with a stone like colour and texture made from oak by designer and wood carver Jamie Gaunt.
 
This bowl is the sixth to be carved by Jamie as part of a limited series of 'Stone' bowls.  It is a rare and beautiful symbol of the power and the beauty of carving which can be characterised by naturally flowing lines and a gorgeously tactile texture.  This carved oak bowl is finished on the inside with a durable oil / wax finish.
 
It is left natural and raw on the outside
